Home Address Pirates Churchhill Brotherhood Religion T.S. Eliot Quote - Going too far

I promised you the official declaration yesterday, but the internet decided not to cooperate. Which seems to be the way of things these last couple of months, but we keep on keeping on!

Thanks to all those who responded by email or Facebook to the announcement on the 19th. Your comments were encouraging in the face of so much that seems to be going off the rails, and I appreciate that you took the time to fire off a few lines.

All that said, the news flash today is unavoidable.

As of now, REGROUPEX 20 is postponed, at least until later in the year. So update your calendars, cancel your reservations, and put those plane tickets on hold (maybe the second week of November would be a good place to park them for the short term). I’ll notify the Navy and the hotel in Silverdale, and we can start working on a new date.

If we push this into next year, the name will change to REGROUPEX 21, but it will still be a reunion you won’t forget.

In the meantime, stay safe, healthy, and six feet away from your nearest neighbor! Just because your state is relaxing their standards and trying to get back to normal is no reason to let your guard down.

Rest assured that some of us will still be working to make your next reunion an experience you won’t want to miss.

See you at the next reunion!

  • New Photos Reveal Details of Cuba’s Tiny, Lethal Attack Submarine
Like most of the Cuban military, the country’s Navy is characterized by inventive recycling of Soviet-era hardware. Modern systems are rare, but there are systems that are unlike anything you will see in other countries’ fleets. The Cuban fleet has fishing trawlers remodeled into warships and torpedo launching platforms that resemble party rafts. But perhaps […]
